Manchester Uk's Best Places for Lunch

Manchester Uk's Best Places for Lunch

Lunch in Manchester is a proper postcode lottery—but we’ve done the losing for you. That means ranking Hawksmoor’s buttery fillet against El Gato Negro’s patatas bravas, and a Gordon Ramsay showpiece beside a twenty-year-old local’s faultless comfort food.

You want a Sunday roast that feeds a small army or a cherry blossom dessert that ends careers. We ate them all, judged the service, and tolerated the wine lists.

Pick your winner.

My Sunday roast was memorable, generous portions and rich flavours. The service, especially from one chap named Wade, was exceptional, attentive but not intrusive. It's a place for a special occasion, or to treat yourself. The atmosphere is warm despite the size. Just be ready for the price tag. It's worth it for the experience, but it's not a casual drop-in.
